Project Overview

This project showcased my knowledge in fitness and nutrition. I recruited a group of 20 individuals whom I work with who do not have time for themselves (either busy working mothers or just busy individuals). I created a 10-week workout plan of exercises that took just ten minutes a day that required no equipment. I also provided a list of nutritious snacks that they implemented into their daily lives. It was not be a meal plan, but rather ideas that helped promote healthy eating. This project benefited these individuals as it allowed them to see that putting aside just ten minutes a day to exercise improved many aspects of their life. Some of these aspects included: happier mood, more energy, sleep better, increased self-confidence, reduced risk of heart disease, learned to set and achieve goals, performed better at work, less susceptible to disease, and overall, live longer. This project educated others about the importance and benefits of setting aside time to exercise each day.
